Privacy policy
Granja 2048 is a game with no accounts, no sign-up and no passwords. This page says plainly what is stored, where it is stored, and what leaves your device.
The short version
- You never create an account, and the game never asks for your name, email or phone number.
- Your run is saved in your own browser, not on a server of ours.
- The only thing that leaves your device is your score, and only if you choose to publish it to the leaderboard.
- Advertising is served by Google, which uses cookies. You can turn off personalisation — the link is below.
What is stored on your device
The game uses your browser's local storage
(localStorage) to keep a single entry, called
farm2048.save.v1, holding:
- The run in progress: the board, the score and the farm you have built.
- Your best score and the highest animal you have ever reached.
- Your lives and the time the next one finishes refilling.
- Your preferences: sound, vibration, the camera view and the language.
- The alias you chose for the leaderboard.
- A randomly generated anonymous identifier, created on your device. It is not derived from anything about you, it cannot be traced back to a person, and its only job is to keep your leaderboard row yours when you come back.
None of that is sent anywhere on its own. If you clear this site's data in your browser, all of it disappears — including your run.
What is sent to the leaderboard
The leaderboard is optional. Data is sent only when you tap the button to publish a score, and what travels is exactly this:
- The alias you typed (up to 16 characters).
- The score of the run.
- The highest animal you reached.
- The number of moves.
- The anonymous identifier described above.
It is stored in a database hosted by Supabase. Your alias is public: anyone looking at the score table can see it. So it is worth not putting your full name there, or anything else you would rather not publish.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which — like any web server — logs the requests it receives, including the IP address, in order to serve the pages and defend against abuse.
Advertising
This game is paid for by advertising. The ads are served by Google AdSense and its partners.
- Google uses cookies to serve ads and measure how they perform. The DoubleClick (DART) cookie lets Google serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- Other partnered ad vendors may also use cookies or similar technologies from this site.
- You can turn off personalised advertising at Google's My Ad Center, and review how Google uses this data here.
- To opt out of third-party vendors generally, see aboutads.info/choices.
In the Android version published on Google Play, ads are served by Google AdMob, on the same terms: you can limit personalised advertising from your phone's settings, under Google → Ads.
Watching an ad is always your choice. The videos that grant lives play only when you ask for them from the in-game shop. A video never interrupts a run.
Children
Granja 2048 is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children under that age. Since there is no sign-up and no forms, the game has no way of knowing the age of the person playing. If you are a parent or guardian and believe something stored belongs to a child, write to us and we will delete it.
Your options
- Erase everything local: clear this site's data in your browser, or uninstall the app. The run, the lives and the alias all go.
- Delete your leaderboard row: write to us with the alias you used and we will remove it.
- Never publish a score: the game works fully without touching the leaderboard.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. Significant changes are also announced inside the game.
